Beef bacon cheeseburger

There are a million variations on the cheeseburger – but we don’t think any of them are complete without a little beef bacon. Try this one and you’ll never look back.

Beef bacon cheeseburger

  • 400 g ground veal
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Vegeta All-Purpose Seasoning
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 slices beef bacon
  • 4 soft buns
  • 4 cheddar slices
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • salt & black pepper

  1. Thoroughly mix the ground veal, ground beef and Vegeta in a bowl. Shape four fairly thick patties (about 3 cm) and leave them to sit for about 30 minutes. Smear the patties with olive oil and grill for about four minutes on each side. Lightly grill the beef bacon as well. Slice the buns.
  2. Place the cooked patties on the bun heels and add the cheese. Place 3 slices of grilled beef bacon on top.
  3. Smear mayonnaise on the bun crowns and close the burgers.
  4. Serve with fries.

Serving: Serve with fries.

Chef's tip: If you have time before cooking the patties, wrap them in clear foil and leave them to sit for an hour for better flavour.
