New potatoes with ajvar

When served with tasty Ajvar Relish and prepared with Vegeta Twist for potatoes, new potatoes are sure to be delightful.

New potatoes with ajvar


  • 1 kg small new potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Vegeta Twist Crispy Potato Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 100 g Podravka Ajvar (mild or hot)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley


  1. Wash potatoes well and scrub skins with a vegetable brush. Place in cold unsalted water and cook about 15 minutes, and then drain.
  2. Season potatoes with Vegeta Twist Crispy Potato Seasoning, add in melted butter and mix well. Place in a well-heated grill pan or on a hot barbeque and grill until your potatoes are golden brown and soft in the centre.
  3. Remove from heat and place in a bowl, add Ajvar, sprinkle with parsley and mix gently.
  4. Serve with the grilled meat of your choice.

Chef's tip: You can season potatoes with Podravka Ajvar Relish mixed with Vegeta and vegetable oil, and then grill.
