The strong Mediterranean flavours of capers and olives meet tuna and chilli in this powerful pasta dish that will warm you down to your toes.
In a pan, heat the olive oil and soften the onion. Add the crushed garlic, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, sugar, Vegeta, chilli powder, strained and rinsed capers and sliced olives. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes, then roughly chop and add the tuna. Add salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with parsley, and serve over the cooked pasta.
Chef's tip: If you prefer the flavour a little more piquant, add chopped fresh chillies to the sauce.
